Published in 1937, Animal Treasures by Ivan T. Anderson features essays on the animal kingdom and its denizens. The section headings in the book include: Unusual Vermin, The Great Forest, The Flying Continent,Misty Mountains, The Great Waters, and All Over The Place. The book is studded with luscious vintage illustrations and is a treasure in and of itself.

I can't remember where I acquired it, but I'm certain it was a steal.
