WWW Wednesday

It's that time again, folks! The weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words   where we answer the big three questions.
What did you just finish reading?
What are you reading now?
&
What will you read next?

My answers are below, and you can follow the link above to see all the other participating blogs and posts.

Just Finished:

Don wakes from a normal manufacturing process as a two-meter, sentient teddy bear sporting purple fur. He learns he is the result of a desperate gamble by an autonomous factory with hashed programming. To protect his home, his way of life, and his creator, Don must lead other killer toys across a harsh alien landscape to battle the native fauna of Rigel-3 and even his own kind.

His discoveries change not only his view of the wars, but his own Human gods. In spite of these trials, Don’s harshest test may be getting his own brethren to believe his adventures and the soul-churning changes needed to survive.

I really enjoyed this one and will be posting a review soon! I also just finished up Animal Farm by George Orwell which I read on audiobook. As a public domain novel, you can find fantastic libervox recordings of Animal Farm and many other classics! I'll be reviewing it as well... eventually.

Reading Now:

Join the legion of fans who have made Erin Hunter's Warriors series a #1 national bestseller! Epic adventures. Fierce Warrior cats. A thrilling fantasy world. It all begins here with Warriors #1: Into the Wild.
For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest according to the laws laid down by their ancestors. But the warrior code is threatened, and the ThunderClan cats are in grave danger. The sinister ShadowClan grows stronger every day. Noble warriors are dying—and some deaths are more mysterious than others.
In the midst of this turmoil appears an ordinary housecat named Rusty . . . who may turn out to be the bravest warrior of them all.

Back  into children's fiction, but I'm definitely liking this one better than Redwall. *spoiler alert* I didn't love Redwall.

 & Up Next:

After seeing the atrocities committed by those in power, Prince Sels is determined to set things right. Defied his rightful seat on the ruling council by the elder Speaker because of his untamed wild magic, Sels will have to find another way and he has just the thing: marriage to a commoner.

Secrets of the past have a way of haunting the future, something Arara, newly bonded of Prince Sels, knows firsthand. But Arara's search for her heritage uncovers more questions than answers.

Summer will end with an eclipse of the sun, said to herald dark times. The empire is besieged by a storm of epic proportions; the prophesy holds the only answers, Arara and Sels the keys. If they are strong enough to use them.

Cannot wait to find out what Arara and the Prince are up to next. I've been waiting a long time to sit down and enjoy this book, and it's finally time!

Happy reading week to all!
